About Madison Collins
Hello, my name is Madison Collins, and I am a sports photographer based in Lothian, Maryland, located just 30 minutes outside of Washington, D.C. I embarked on my photography journey in 2022, shortly after graduating from Southern High School. I began by covering a wide range of sports at my alma mater and quickly expanded my portfolio.
In 2023, I had the opportunity to cover the Georgetown University Women’s Basketball team for HoyaReport.com, attending every game during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons. Throughout these years, I also had the privilege of traveling to the Big East Tournament and the 2024 NCAA Final Four, further honing my skills and gaining invaluable experience in high-level sports photography.
Photography has become a vital part of my life because I am passionate about capturing the moments in sports that others might miss with the naked eye. This ability to freeze a fleeting moment and tell a powerful story through a single image is what drives me every day. I am particularly committed to using my work to advocate for women’s sports—a cause I have long supported.
I find great joy in connecting with others and am always eager to learn and grow, as I believe there is always room for improvement. Currently, I am available for hire and am confident that my unique perspective and dedication to capturing compelling moments make me a strong asset for any outlet seeking fresh, innovative vision in the sports photography industry.
